I learned Objective-C and Swift by reading a book and watching YouTube tutorials. Last year, I took an independent study, where I created a game called Where's Pierre. The game centers around a balloon who is lost from his owner Pierre. In this trivia and endless runner adventure, the player, as the balloon, must go through a series of countries and collect "hint" letters to find Pierre once again! Last year, I created VC++ Student Developers, a student-run organization where designers, programmers, and entrepreneurs come together to make things they are passionate about. As the Co-Founder, I'm responsible for leading multiple projects, including websites, mobile apps, and games. I am also the Director of iOS Development for VC++, meaning I specialize in working with several small groups to create iOS applications for the student community. I'm very passionate about iOS development and I can't wait to help you with your apps! See the code associated with the projects mentioned above on my GitHub page.

For the past two years, I've been a Computer Science Teaching Assistant for a Java introductory course at Vassar College. As a TA, I work one-on-one with students during weekly computer laboratories as well as in office hours to answer specific questions on assignments and elaborate on broad topics, such as algorithms and data structures. I also assist supervising professors in other course-related work. I have also completed many projects in Java including a basic chatroom that employs a GUI client and a multi-threaded server and a Tic Tac Toe game with a Monte-Carlo based AI. Furthermore, I've created an application that uses a balancing binary search tree to store data and an iterable abstraction to retrieve data. It is complete with an original testing suite and custom API. In addition, I have also programmed a game called "Meteor Shower," which combines interesting enemy behavior, two transitional modes of play, and persistent player attributes in the deepest corners of the galaxy. This application also has a custom testing suite. In most of these programs, I used the NetBeans IDE and I'm very familiar with its debugger. Lastly, this year I created an online YouTube tutorial series called 30 Days of Code that takes viewers from installing a simple IDE to building data structures from scratch. I have experience building, testing, debugging, and repeating the whole process over and over again. I can debug your Java. See the code associated with the projects mentioned above on my GitHub page.

Although Java is very similar to C++, there are many differences. I learned these differences when I took a Graphics course at Vassar College. We used Visual Studio to create the Mandelbrot Set, a drawing application, a cycling robot, and a ray-tracing program. I've very familiar with C++ and the Visual Studio debugger. See the code associated with the projects mentioned above on my GitHub page.
