As the CTO at PrivOps, I play a pivotal role in both leadership and hands-on development within this dynamic startup environment. My primary responsibility is developing the PrivOps low-code data integration fabric, guiding the architecture, and overseeing the full lifecycle of our application development. I spearheaded a complete overhaul of the User Interface using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, enhancing functionality and user experience. Additionally, I designed and implemented a backend-for-frontend layer with Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST, and completely rebuilt the backend layer to improve scalability and maintainability. A key achievement was developing a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that allows clients to effortlessly manage data pipelines. This interface supports generic backend integration flows, vastly improving our clients' operational capabilities. My role also extends to making strategic technology decisions that define the company’s framework, deploying software solutions directly to client accounts, ensuring rigorous security and maintenance protocols, and continuously enhancing our offerings with updates and feature improvements.

My wife and I co-founded Candee Generations, a dynamic digital agency specializing in web design, application development, graphic design, print design, and presentations. At the heart of our business is a commitment to 21st-century innovation paired with 1st-century ethics. We craft stunning websites, robust web applications, and compelling digital and print graphics using cutting-edge technologies. Our focus is on honesty, transparency, and diligence. We pride ourselves on adhering to timeless core values while delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. As the Scrum Master for our team, I led a diverse group comprised of 4 software engineers, 4 quality engineers, and a product manager. My role centered on ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of features. I worked closely with the product manager to streamline feature delivery schedules and align project objectives. With quality engineers, I focused on maintaining rigorous testing protocols for each feature, ensuring high standards were consistently met. Additionally, I managed the professional development of our 4 software engineers, guiding them toward achieving their individual goals and certifications. I was committed to supporting their career growth while fostering a healthy work/life balance, essential for sustaining productivity and job satisfaction.
