Built many applications with C# (almost always as a full stack developer) - as a permanent employee, as side projects and more recently as a contractor. These are often for householf names, having to meet high standards. At Bupa (international healthcare group), my most recent project is an internal app that takes data from various remote locations (using various systems), consolidates it into a common format and allows users to enter data such as payments, banking information. This data then all feeds into the company's financial system. I was lead developer when we re-wrote the website at Gocompare. This is a high volume public facing isurance comparison website. At the same company I was also involved in integrating various 3rd parties into the system. I have written desktop apps, batch jobs, web apps, APIs, services etc. using C#. Unit tests, asynchronous calls etc.

The majority of my work over the last 6 years or so as a contractor has been building MVC apps. These usually large, complex applications handling a lot of complex data. Often there will be an API or one or more services involved.

Extensive experience with Javascript across various websites, from simple animations and validation, to SPAs. At DezRez I was part of a small team that built an SPA for buying houses. So, lots of galleries, appointment booking, searches, Google Maps, that kind of thing. Knockout was the base library but also used the likes of handlebars. Other web apps I have built, usually as a full stack .NET developer, also include extensive javascript. The apps are often quite complicated so there is often the need to client side functionality, such as editting rows of data in a table, plotting graphs, allowing uses to select items from a diagram etc.

The majority of apps I have developed have been backed by an SQL database. I've had to access existing databases and build new ones. Plenty of experience building tables, stored procs, functions etc.

I have built several games with Game Maker Studio over the years. This includes Return to Sector 9, a free PC game that was very popular. I won the Retro Remakes competition in 2007 with The Pyramid. I've released a few mobile games recently, such as Ten Second Space Missions on Android an iOS.
