Have personally used AWS for many years and then 3/4 years ago I suggested, conceived, planned, migrated and launched our entire web platform over to AWS from a traditional hosting environment. The migration was done "properly" modifying the applications and infrastructure design to take advantage of all of the "Cloud" features, as such I have extensive experience of: - EC2 - Autoscaling - ELB - EBS - S3 - Cloudfront - Cloudwatch - SQS - SimpleDB - DynamoDB - Cloudformation - RDS AWS is now a key tool in the department and is used to help solve problems as well as deliver new services so am I

Used on the majority of systems I have worked on. Have worked with OpenSource software ( e.g. forum software ), frameworks ( e.g. Symfony 1, Symfony 2 ), and written applications from scratch. Have worked with and written OO php as well as flat scripts depending on the specific needs of the project.

Have always been very close to the server and service side of delivery as well as the pure coding. Most recently I have extensive experience working with all aspects of AWS to deliver servers and services.

Have always worked directly on servers and never used "control panel style hosting" so I have extensive experience of all aspects of server management.

Having never worked on "static" websites SQL has been part of all projects over the years. Have worked with both MySQL and Oracle databases. SQL experience extends to both integrating with frameworks and abstraction layers - as well as implementing pure SQL solutions with procedures/functions.

The database server I have most commonly used over the years. Have used in both a public facing website context - and in a pure data storage/management context for analytic data sources.

Used over the years to delivery various website features and solve issues, filling in the gap between HTML and server side code to delivery smooth user experiences.
