I have nearly 6 years of experience building sophisticated apps, many of them social networks, for early- to mid-stage startups in Miami, SF, and LA. I've launched several apps to the store on my own, built apps using MapKit, have crafted extremely detailed UI elements, used Pods to add 3rd-party frameworks into projects, and have done a couple projects utilizing a Firebase backend that I create and maintain. I've worked in small teams where I was the only dev, testing was basically taboo, and the rules were to move fast above all else. I've also worked on a couple larger teams - the largest having 7 iOS developers and ~40 total software engineers - where testing was vital, highly detailed communication was as important as coding, and we needed to move carefully and deliberately to keep our product running. Most recently, I've been working as a freelance developer on smaller, deadline-driven projects while I travel the world! These varied experiences in work atmosphere as well as frameworks give me a significant knowledge-base to draw upon.

I've developed and released one Android app. I have a basic understanding of the development and deployment process, experience sending push notifications, and experience integrating 3rd party frameworks into projects.

I've used Firebase extensively in a couple of hobby iOS projects, one of which is headed to the store in the next couple months. I'm well-versed in the iOS SDK, particularly around the Realtime Database and Cloud Storage features, and have learned how to structure a database for apps with complex data structures.
