About a year ago I decided to switch companies and entered the current crazy world of software engineer interviewing. It lasted for about 4 months; I applied to hundreds of positions and interviewed at dozens of companies receiving offers from FAANG+ companies and ended up tripling my salary. I don't see this to brag, rather, as a way of proof that I have a ton of lessons gained during this process that I wish I knew before hand. I also am in charge of technical screenings at my company and know what big tech is looking for in their software engineers. I currently help friends learn to code and gain valuable skills as well as how to land their dream job. I would love to expand this since I think I have knowledge where I can truly help people.
