Shopify is an organization that supports the next generation of entrepreneurs, the world’s biggest brands, and everyone in between.

• Handled data collection and experiments with multiple countries. This was to determine if we could enable Google address autocompletion for them. Out of 12, 4 were considered successful and Google address autocompletion was enabled for them.
• Took ownership of an internal tool in the Address Team. This is used to measure how well our custom address validation worked compared to other solutions.
• Worked on intricate matching algorithms that were required for address validation.
• Contributed to the recently publicized Worldwide gem that would allow for synchronized information between multiple 3rd parties regarding country and address data.

CookiesHQ is an organization that partners with startups and enterprises to build, launch, and scale their websites and apps.

• Took full ownership of a project’s backend from scratch. ItSettled using Ruby on Rails. Delivered a functional and fully tested app, with over 90% coverage MVP for the client in the space of three months.
• Released a Stripe payment feature for ItSettled at MVP2 in a little under 2 weeks.
• Contributed to other projects to meet client deadlines.

SassafrasTech Collective is a growing worker-owned technology cooperative specializing in web/app design and development for social justice organizations, non-profits, academics, artists, and others.

• Worked on four projects; Madeline, GamePlan, RealRisks, and ELMO as per feature demand. Shipped out a fully functional frontend designed in Angular during my time on the Gameplan and RealRisks projects. Contributed majorly to the backend with the more complex ELMO and Madeline projects.
• Joined the team in client meetings for requirements gathering and scoping.
• Translated client requirements to user stories with implementation details for better directions across the team.
