I got a brief overview of what a debugger is and basic functionalities. I was not sure if we could learn in 15 minutes, so we started with basics of what a debugger can do and under what situations it is very useful. Johann covered basic ideas around backtraces, core dump, watch lists, and debugging symbols. I think I like the teacher and will be booking a longer session to start learning gdb from him.
