● Led the development and design of multiple performant event-driven microservices for biotech startup client using Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions, and other AWS services.
● Standardized the process of tracking Datadog monitors in Terraform Cloud and automated the import of several hundred existing monitors into Terraform Cloud.
● Co-led the development of a greenfield LLM sales tool, focusing on efficient LLM memory and context management on the backend.
● Took ownership of self-hosted LLM monitoring solution, including automating deployment using Github Actions and Azure Container Repository and creating the necessary resources in Azure using Terraform.
● Served as internal advisor to multiple junior developers, resulting in the promotion of one.
● Spoke at multiple conferences about devops and architecture topics, promoting the company’s brand and
contributing to the Tennessee tech community.
● Contributed to internal thought leadership through presentations on new technology and paradigms, such as
advanced RAG pipelines and new developments in machine learning.

● Maintained and implemented primarily new backend features for defined benefits platform, handling millions in defined benefits payouts each month.
● Troubleshooted legacy schedule-based integrations, often developing one-off Powershell and Python scripts to correct data.
● Configured new JBoss servers and load balancers in order to facilitate migration of platform from one datacenter to another.
● Created extensive documentation on platform architecture in order to perform security audit, supporting USI’s acquisition of Findley.

● Maintained and implemented new features for the AAA claims platform, primarily implementing new business logic on the backend.
● Led implementation of first unit and functional testing framework for claims platform using JUnit and Selenium, resulting in higher service availability and lower amounts of tech debt.
● Worked with senior developer to perform first load tests on claims platform.
