Where do I begin with the mentorship that Nour has provided me? After the first few minutes of meeting Nour, its easy to see the depth and mastery on all things Python, Django and DRF.
We had a project already started and he was kind enough to inform us on how the initial structure of the code would cause problems later on. We believed him and when that time came (4 weeks later) we were able to understand what he was warning us of. I now know this saved us from a ton of headaches.
Nour was able to help architect our project and lead others with their portions of the code. He was always available and after a few sessions, we felt he was part of our team. It was very reassuring knowing that he was always there and genuinely enjoyed providing the insights and guidance.
On the code samples that he provided, it was general enough where we understood how to incorporate it into our project and at the same time incomplete enough to allow us to fill in gaps and learn the areas where we needed it. His ability to not only understand where one is in their knowledge and where one wants to go, but to also fill exactly what needs to filled, is especially unique and awesome.
Nour also has an exceptional strength of distilling the essence of an idea into a concise sentence. With many others, (including myself) I often explain things in a long drawn out way, which tends to loose people. Not Nour. I often recorded my sessions with Nour because they were so valuable.
In terms of being a professional, it goes without saying that he always does what he says, delivers on all action items, is extremely prompt and has excellent communication skills.
I would love the opportunity to work with Nour again and I hope our paths cross again soon.
