Good things come with time and effort. If you're looking to really become a proven expert in a given field, you have to be patient, committed, and open to making a lot of mistakes; that's how true masters of a craft are made.

I've been using open-source technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and others for over a decade. I appreciate the resolve and effort that goes into building these tools and making them available to others, and I respect those who use them to enhance themselves so that they can improve their communities.

I also like to focus on the fundamentals - the underlying principles - of a challenge before jumping into code. This gives a good appreciation of the strategy before a tactical maneuver.
