I learnt Git when I started iOS because I didn't like SVN any more. Whilst I'm not versed in some of the more esoteric git commands I have a great foundational knowledge of Git and the common commands and workflows used. Whilst I do the bulk of my workflow in SourceTree now, I still find my self helping my team members out when they get stuck at the command line. Common problems I've helped others fix deal submodules, merges conflicts, and rebases. I've also helped new team members with no Git experience come up to speed quickly.

I've built my own apps, run my own contacting company, and worked for companies building iOS apps. I've worked on iPhone, iPad and universal apps. I've helped small and large businesses with their development needs and pride myself on producing high quality work as efficiently as possible Popular apps I've worked on include The Economist for iPad and Qwiki. I love the iOS platform and almost immediately switched from my previous occupation as a Java Engineer in the financial services industry to iOS when the SDK was launched. I've used many technologies within iOS such as, Core Data, Core Graphics, Reactive Cocoa, and Cocoapods. I keep up to date with current trends via podcasts, blogs, books, and conferences.
