I take great joy in the mentoring process, attempting to put students on a good path that avoids wasted effort and increases understanding and effectiveness. I charge a nominal fee to sharpen this mentoring skillset and hope motivated students will reach for guidance in long-form learning process. One-off problem solving is not what I'm here for.

I'm a senior full stack developer, started in RoR, to Javascript (Ember/Vue/React), now continuing the adventure with Elixir/Phoenix. I've been working remote for over half my career, but there's more involved than most believe. I focus on many of the secondary aspects or programming like: keeping your work life organized, making room for deep work, writing code that's well tested and maintainable.
